No Injuries Reported In Yonkers Partial Building Collapse

YONKERS, N.Y. – A vacant building located at 166 Yonkers Ave. partially collapsed Tuesday.

A section of the rear roof collapsed, and no injuries were reported. After an investigation by the Yonkers Fire Department and the City of Yonkers Building Department, the building has significant problems and will have to be taken down to prevent further collapse.

The Yonkers fire and police departments were on scene overnight for the safety of the citizens.
