Motorcyclist Hospitalized In Yonkers Crash

Updated, 4:10 p.m.: Yonkers Avenue has been opened up in both directions, according to police.

Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash hat sent a motorcyclist in Yonkers to a hospital.

Yonkers Police Sgt. Dean Politopoulos confirmed that there was an accident involving a motorcycle near the intersection of Yonkers Avenue and Fox Terrace, reportedly shutting down a stretch of the roadway in both directions while detectives investigate the crash.

Politopoulos said that a motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The crash is currently under investigation.
