WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A 14-year-old endangered boy who went missing in Yonkers Tuesday morning was found late Tuesday afternoon and is safe.

No further information was immediately released.

Original report:

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing teen who was threatening to harm himself in Yonkers earlier Tuesday.

Bryan Vidal Pena, 14, may be in the area of Tibbetts Brook Park on Yonkers Avenue, said Det. Sgt. Dean Politopoulos.

Pena, a Hispanic male, is described as being 5-foot-8, 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, black Adidas pants, black glasses and a blue backpack, Politopoulos said.

Pena is considered emotionally disturbed and has threatened self-harm, he added.

Anyone with information about the teen's whereabouts is asked to contact the Yonkers Police Department at (914) 377-7900.
