Jaemon Greenhill, 42, was arrested Sunday and charged with three felonies – third-degree robbery, grand larceny, and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, police said.
He also faces a misdemeanor possession of burglary tools charge and a violation for harassment in connection with the alleged incident, according to police.
Greenhill removed about $1,350 worth of merchandise from the Macy’s store in West Nyack, placed the items in bags, and left the Palisades Mall business without paying for the merchandise, police said.
A Macy’s employee tried to stop Greenhill, who then escalated the situation into a physical struggle, according to police.
