Man Accused Of Assault Among Yonkers Police Department's 'Most Wanted'

YONKERS, N.Y. - Years after he allegedly committed first-degree assault, Yonkers detectives continue their investigation into the whereabouts of Joseph Ubiles, who is among the Police Department’s “most wanted.”

According to police, on March 3, 2012, the 25-year-old Ubiles committed an assault, “with the intent to cause serious physical injury to another person.” The 6-foot, 160-pound man's last listed address was an apartment on Alder Street.

Police have cautioned that Ubiles is considered extremely dangerous, and residents should take no action to apprehend him. Anyone with information about the case can contact police at (914) 377-7253; if he is spotted in Yonkers, 911 should be called. If he is observed outside of Yonkers, local police should be contacted immediately.
