Aisar Valiente pleaded guilty Tuesday to a count of second-degree course of sexual conduct with a minor, a Class D felony that will see him spending time behind bars.
According to New York State law, a person is guilty of course of sexual conduct against a child in the second degree when, “over a period of time not less than three months in duration, he or she engages in two or more acts of sexual conduct with a child less than 11-years-old.” Valiente reportedly engaged in sexual activity with an underaged girl over the course of three years before his arrest late last year.
A native of Guatemala, New Rochelle police confirmed that Valiente is not a United States citizen, though his residency status remains unclear. The 39-year-old will be sentenced in Westchester County Court on Tuesday, July 26.
