Gas Station Worker Shot During Attempted Robbery In Westchester

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- A gas station attendant was shot twice in the stomach during an attempted armed robbery at the Gulf gas station in Mount Vernon Saturday night, according to multiple reports.

The Gulf station is 135 E. 3rd St. at the corner of Franklin Avenue in Mount Vernon.

The incident, which is under investigation, occurred around 8 p.m. at the station, which is located at 135 E. 3rd St. at the corner of Franklin Avenue.

The attendant, who was rushed was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center and is expected to be survive, according to ABC 7.
