Four Suffer Stab, Gunshot Wounds In Yonkers Fight

YONKERS, N.Y. – A late night altercation at Bottoms Up bar turned violent in Yonkers early on Saturday morning, leading to four men being treated for stab and gunshot wounds.

According to a police report, at approximately 2:45 a.m., officers responded to the bar on Nepperhan Avenue after a quarrel at Bottoms Up spilled into the street and escalated, resulting in gunshots being fired.

A pair of Yonkers residents suffered gunshot wounds, one to the torso and one to the chest, while a Mount Vernon and Yonkers native suffered stab wounds to the chest.

In all, the crime scene spanned three blocks in Yonkers as police continue their investigation. Police officials do not believe that the incident was gang related. There are currently no suspects being held or questioned.
