Cops: Two Arrested After Car Hits State Trooper's Car

YONKERS, N.Y. – Two individuals have been taken into custody after a vehicle reportedly struck a New York state trooper’s vehicle along Interstate 87 near Yonkers. 

State police said the vehicle struck the trooper’s car while heading south on the thruway just before 9:30 a.m. The vehicle fled the scene, heading south toward New York City, police said.

After a brief chase that led police into the Bronx, two individuals were arrested, police said. No injuries were reported.
