Yonkers police were notified by an alarm of the burglary at Avitabile Latticini Deli at 1030 Yonkers Ave. around 2:15 a.m., said Yonkers Police Sgt. Dean Politopoulos.
Officers and detectives responded to the deli and found that the suspect had climbed through a window to gain entry, police said.
After a search of the business, it was determined that the only item taken was money out of the cash register, police added.
The burglary is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Yonkers Police Department at 914-377-7900.
