Burglars Go Underground In Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Burglars broke into two businesses on a busy street in Yonkers this weekend, according to Westchester News 12.

A nail salon and a lunchonette on Lockwood Avenue were the targets, Westchester News 12 said.

The burglars were able to access the stores by going underground and climbing through a hole in the wall of the nail salon, Westchester News 12 added.

Police said cartons of cigarettes and cash were taken from the luncheonette, but nothing was taken from the nail salon, according to Westchester News 12.
