Alleged Drug Dealer Among Yonkers Police Department's 'Most Wanted'

YONKERS, N.Y. - More than three years after he was accused of attempting to sell a sizable quantity of drugs, Yonkers detectives continue their investigation into the whereabouts of Maximo Espinal who is among the Police Department’s “most wanted.”

According to police, on Sept. 20, 2013, Lovell, a Bronx resident at the time of his alleged crime, “is wanted for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the first-degree within the city of Yonkers.” Police said he was in possession of more than eight ounces of an undisclosed drug that he intended to sell.

The 5-foot 9-inch, 250-pound man's last listed address was an apartment on Kingsbridge Avenue in the Bronx.

Police have cautioned that the 26-year-old Espinal is considered extremely dangerous, and residents should take no action to apprehend him. Anyone with information about the case can contact the Yonkers Police Warrant Squad at (914) 377-7253, and if he is spotted in Yonkers, 911 should be called. If he is observed outside of Yonkers, local law enforcement should be contacted immediately.
