Accused Burglar Remains On Yonkers Police Department's 'Most Wanted' List

YONKERS, N.Y. - Nearly two years after he allegedly burglarized a city home, Yonkers detectives continue their investigation into the whereabouts of Leo Shabazz Lovell, who is among the Police Department’s “ most wanted .”

According to police, on June 27, 2015, Lovell “knowingly and unlawfully entered and remained in a residence with the intention of committing a crime therein." The 5-foot 9-inch, 150-pound man's last listed address in Yonkers was on Warburton Avenue.

Police have cautioned that the 26-year-old Lovell is considered extremely dangerous, and residents should take no action to apprehend him. Anyone with information about the case can contact police at (914) 377-7253, and if he is spotted in Yonkers, 911 should be called. If he is observed outside of Yonkers, local police should be contacted immediately.
