Accused Burglar Remains On Yonkers Police Department's 'Most Wanted' List

YONKERS, N.Y. - Nearly two years after he allegedly burglarized a city home, Yonkers detectives continue their investigation into the whereabouts of Leo Shabazz Lovell, who is among the Police Department’s “most wanted.”

According to police, on June 27, 2015, Lovell “knowingly and unlawfully entered and remained in a residence with the intention of committing a crime therein." The 5-foot 9-inch, 150-pound man's last listed address in Yonkers was on Warburton Avenue.

Police have cautioned that the 26-year-old Lovell is considered extremely dangerous, and residents should take no action to apprehend him. Anyone with information about the case can contact police at (914) 377-7253, and if he is spotted in Yonkers, 911 should be called. If he is observed outside of Yonkers, local police should be contacted immediately.
