YONKERS, N.Y. -- Zofia Sokolik (Zawadzki), a resident of Yonkers, died Saturday, Oct. 10. She was 83.
She was predeceased by her husband, Antoni Roman Sokolik.
Sokolik is survived by her children, Stanley (Casey) Sokolik, Stasia (Robert) Marco, Edward Sokolik, Teddy Sokolik, Stephen (Regina) Sokolik and Krystyna Sokolik; nine siblings; and eight grandchildren, Karen, Lisa, Kimberly, Melissa, Bobby Jr., Cory, Isabella, and Noelani.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Duchynski-Cherko Funeral Home, 111 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Casimir's Church, 239 Nepperhan Ave., Yonkers. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
