Walter Szwejtys, 81, Of Yonkers, Machinist, Nice-Pak Products

YONKERS, N.Y. - Walter Szwejtys of Yonkers died Wednesday, Oct. 29. He was 81.

Szwejtys was born May 20, 1933, to Frank and Frances Szwejtys in Poland. He worked as a machinist for Nice-Pak Products for over 25 years. He was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Szwejtys is survived by his children, Tommy, Wally, Joseph, Carol and Lori; sisters, Jadwiga Bildriuk and Janina Kumor; and two grandsons. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Wanda Muszynski; and sons, John, Steven and David.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. in Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
