YONKERS, N.Y. -- Virginia Pecora Moore, 93, of Yonkers, N.Y. died on Aug. 17.
She was born on April 21, 1922 to the late Francesco and Virginia (nee Florio) Pecora in Yonkers.
Virginia was a retired secretary with Stauffer Chemical in Ardsley. She was an active member of the United States Power Squadron.
Virginia was predeceased by her devoted husband, Richard Morgan Moore in 2002 and by her three deceased sisters, Bettina Tremark, Philomena Losey and Frances DeMeo and is survived by her loving children, Dorina Drake of Yonkers, Tricia (Alfred) Belluscio of Yonkers and Frank (Nadia) Drake of Thornwood one sister, Theodora Bridgeman of Yonkers. Also survived by her five cherished grandchildren, Kyle, Evan and Briana Belluscio and Christina and Daniel Drake.
Reposing will be at Sinatra Memorial Home in Yonkers on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Graveside Service will be at Rosendale Cemetery in Tillson on Friday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Memphis, Tenn. would be appreciated.
