Vincent P. Galotti, 92, Of Yonkers, Retired Communication Engineer

YONKERS, N.Y. - Vincent P. Galotti of Yonkers died Tuesday, April 1. He was 92.

Galotti was born Dec. 21, 1921, in the Bronx, to Frank and Serafina Virgilli Galotti where he was raised and attended local schools. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran where he served in the South Pacific and Asia. He was a retired communication engineer for Federal Aviation at J.F.K.

Galotti is survived by his wife, Katherine; children, Sara Waskuch of Vermont, Frank of Florida, Vincent of Montreal and Andrew of Yorktown; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers, Nicholas and Carmine; and sister, Margaret Pavone.

Calling hours are Friday, April 4 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5 in Mt. Carmel Church. Entombment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Calvary Hospital, 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx.
