Vincent Caruso, 92, Of Yonkers, Retired Estimator/Draftsman

YONKERS, N.Y. - Vincent (Jim) Caruso of Yonkers died Nov.15. He was 92.

Caruso was born Jan. 16, 1922, to Gaetano and Vincenza Caruso in N.Y. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a graduate of New York University with a degree in aeronautical engineering. He was a retired estimator/draftsman.

Caruso is survived by his wife, Josephine Caruso of Yonkers; children, Thomas (Domenica) Caruso of Hawthorne, James (Maria Christopher) Caruso of Haddonfield, N.J., and Lorraine Caruso of Harrison; and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours are Monday, Nov. 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hawthorne Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18 at the St.Anthony's Church, (Nepera Park), Yonkers. Entombment will be held at the Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
