Thomas R. O'Donoghue, 70, Of Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. – Thomas R. O'Donoghue, a lifelong resident of Yonkers, died Friday, Feb. 26. He was 70.

O'Donoghue graduated from Roosevelt High School and the University of Florida, playing baseball throughout his studies.

After college, he started his own home improvement business now run by his family, while continuing to coach youth sports.

He was predeceased by his mother, Charlotte. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Dylan; a son, Timothy; and a daughter-in-law, Blake Eger.

Visiting hours will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 4, at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home in Bronxville.

A graveside service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Saturday, March 5, at 10 a.m.
