Thomas F. Woods, 70, Worked For City Of Yonkers Sanitation Department

YONKERS, N.Y. - Thomas Francis Woods "Woodsy", a lifelong resident of Yonkers, died Tuesday, Oct. 28. He was 70.

Woods was born Oct. 5, 1944, in Yonkers, to Thomas and Katherine Woods. He worked for the City of Yonkers Sanitation Department for over 20 years.

Woods is survived by his wife, MaryAnn (Gianzero) Woods; children, Lisa Woods Csizmar, Danielle Woods and Thomas (Kelly) Woods; four grandchildren; sister, Virginia (William) O'Brien; a goddaughter; several nieces, nephews; a grandniece; and many friends.

There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 18 Trinity Plaza, Yonkers, NY 10701. Interment is private.
