YONKERS, N.Y. - Thomas "Tom" Elliott of Yonkers died Saturday, May 18. He was 86.
Elliott was born Aug. 22, 1926, to David and Winifred Elliott in Brooklyn. He served with both the US Navy (USS Plunkett during WWII) and then the US Army. He was also employed at Addressograph Multigraph International for over 35 years, retiring in 1993.
Elliott was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and the Yonkers Amateur Radio Club. He was a former Scoutmaster of BSA Troop 102.
Elliott is survived by his son, James; daughter, Judy McLaughlin; five grandchildren; and sister, Eleanor Ferrera.
Calling hours are Tuesday, May 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the David J. Hodder and Son Funeral Home . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday May 22 in St. Barnabas Church. Cremation to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
