YONKERS, N.Y. -- Stephen Adrian DeAbreu of Yonkers died on Saturday, March 28. He was 49.
Born on June 21, 1965 to Augustine and Barbara Simmons in Georgetown, Guyana.
He worked as a maintenance man for Wave Hill in the Bronx for the last 10 years and served as the shop steward for Local DC 347 for the last two years.
On March 9, 1991, he married Stephanie DeGree in Community Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, Steven, Donoven, and Domonique; three grandchildren, Javonni, Ayannah, and Steven Adrian; his brother, Michael and sisters, Lisa Valentin, Michelle DeAbreu and Christine Henriquez, his mother, Barbara DeAbreu and his stepfather Francis (Frank).
Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday, from 9 a.m. to noon with funeral services to immediately follow.
Committal Service will be held at Ferncliff Chapel.
