Stefania Pleszak, 88, Of Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. - Stefania (Stella) Pleszak nee (Bugala) of Yonkers died Friday, Nov. 14. She was 88.

Pleszak was born March 3,1926, in Poland. She was a World War II German War Camp survivor and came to Yonkers. She was a parishioner of St. Casimir's Church; a member of the YWCA Seniors. She did volunteer work at St. Casimir's Bazaar and Flea Market.

Pleszak is survived by her daughters, Hedy (James) Egan and Terry (John) Federico; six grandchildren; and sister, Irene in Poland. She was predeceased by her grandson, Jamie Egan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Nov. 17  at 10 a.m. in St. Casimir's Church. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Donations may be made to the family for the Mt. St. Vincent College Grotto Fund in Riverdale.
