YONKERS, N.Y. - Stanislaw J. Poplawski, a Yonkers resident since 1961, died Tuesday, March 18. He was 62.
Poplawski is survived by his wife, Irena (Augustowska) Poplawski; former wife, Krystyna Serafin; daughters, Susan (Ashley) Sosner, and Sylvia Poplawski; stepdaughters, Anna, Marta and Dorothy and their families; sibling, Miranda (Stanislaw) Zimnoch-Lebiedzinski; and niece and nephew. He was predeceased by his brother, Casimir Poplawski; and brother-in-law, Jan Zimnoch.
Calling hours are Thursday, March 20 and Friday, March 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. both days, at Yonkers Funeral Service, 107 Yonkers Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22 at St. Casimir's Church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
