Born in Puerto Rico, "Santiago was a man of tremendous faith and unparalleled character," according to information provided by the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Gladys, and predeceased by his parents, Domingo and Genara Medina.
Visiting hours will be from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, at the Flynn Memorial Home, 325 South Broadway, in Yonkers. A mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, at St. Peter's Church, 91 Ludlow St. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, in Yonkers.
