YONKERS, N.Y. - Rosalyn Simmons, a lifelong resident of Yonkers, died Dec. 5. She was 55.
Simmons was born in 1959, to Fletcher Simmons and Anna Adams. She was a secretary at Mercy College in the Bronx.
Simmons is survived by her father, Fletcher; daughter, Mia Rollins; three grandchildren; siblings, Gregory Simmons, and Michele Dessesow; and boyfriend, Lance Jacobs. She was predeceased by her mother, Anna; and sister, Deidre Simmons.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Dec. 9 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Flower Funeral Home Inc., 714 Yonkers Ave. Religious services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Oakland Cemetery.
