YONKERS, N.Y. – Robert V. Brown, a lifelong resident of Yonkers, died Tuesday, March 8. He was 66.
He was a deliveryman for United Parcel Service and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the Empire Post.
He was the son of the late James H. and Mary Lorene Garrett Brown; father of Jamie Brown; brother of James C. (Irene) Brown and Mary Lorene Hipple (Michael Cinicolo); grandfather of Edwin; uncle of Christine Brown and Kimberly (Christopher) Koehnlein; and great-uncle of Jason and Olivia Koehnlein.
Visitation will take place Sunday, March 13, from 5-9 p.m. at Flower Funeral Home Inc., 714 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, with a funeral Mass taking place Monday at 10:45 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
