YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Richard T. Gerace, of Yorktown Heights, died on June 20.
Gerace was born in Yonkers to Frank and Carmella (nee Sacco) Gerace, graduating in 1965 from Saunders Trades and Technical High School, and was a member of the Empire Carpenters Union for 37 years.
He is survived by longtime companion Jeannette Kessler, two sons, Richard V. Gerace and his wife Nicole, and Frank Gerace and his wife Denise, stepdaughter Kimberly Cascone and her husband Joseph, sister Marilyn Lynch and her husband Edward, and seven grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be at the Yorktown Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be at Gate of Heaven Chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m., with interment to follow.
