Richard Musci, 77, Lifelong Yonkers Resident, Owned Musci Hardware

YONKERS, N.Y. - Richard Musci, a lifelong resident of Yonkers, died Tuesday, Oct. 7. He was 77.

Musci was born June 25, 1937, to Felice and Josephine (Riti) Musci, in Yonkers, where he was raised and graduated from Gorton High School. He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church and previously owned and operated Musci Hardware on New Main Street.

Musci is survived by his sisters, Mary Racioppi of Rockaway, N.J., Roseann (Edward) Jones of Yonkers and Nancy (John) Botcheller of Middletown, R.I.; six nephews; and three nieces. He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 10 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 at Sacred Heart.
