YONKERS, N.Y. - Phyllis McGee of Yonkers died Tuesday, Jan. 21. She was 80.
McGee was employed at Manhattan College for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Yonkers for 45 years.
McGee is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Seamus, Larry, Roseanne Rooney, Martin, Denise and Jeremy Katz; three grandchildren; siblings, Thomas and Dennis Hynes and Mary and Bill O'Connell. She was predeceased by her siblings, Michael and Sally.
Calling hours are Friday, Jan. 24 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at F. Ruggiero & Sons, Inc., 732 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY 10704 (914) 375-1400. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Yonkers. Cremation will take place privately.
