YONKERS, N.Y. – Phyllis M. Connor, of Yonkers, died on Saturday, May 30. She was 88.
Connor was born on June 26, 1926, to John T. and Helen M. (Palmer) Connor. She graduated from Gorton High School in Yonkers and worked as a Metro-North Railroad secretary for more than 60 years.
She was predeceased by her sister, Jeanne.
Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1 to 5 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Christ the King Church in Yonkers on Thursday at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Connor's name to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Ave., Hawthorne, NY 10532.
