Pasquale G. Cercone, 87, Of Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. – Pasquale G. Cercone, a longtime Yonkers resident, died peacefully March 17. He was 87.

Cerone was employed as a bricklayer, an owner of a gas station, a building inspector for New York City and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by wife Angela (nee Cioffi) Cercone, sons Vincent and wife Kathleen, Richard and partner Ja, Patrick and wife Angie, siblings David, Vincent Cercone and Carol Sergio, six grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

Visiting hours are at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.

A funeral Mass will be at St. Bartholomew Church at 10 a.m. Friday, and a committal service will be at Ferncliff Chapel.
