DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Nicholas John Cilurzo, 59, of Dobbs Ferry, died Saturday, May 2.
He was the son of the late Frank and Mary Cilurzo, of Dobbs Ferry.
Cilurzo earned a drafting certificate from Westchester Community College, as well as electrical and plumbing certificates from BOCES.
He owned a successful home improvement business for many years.
He also worked in the mechanical engineering department at St. John’s Hospital in Yonkers, until his retirement in 2006.
Survivors include his fiancé, Cora Sanday; one brother, Frank (MaryJeanne) Cilurzo of Trumbull, Conn.; one sister, Rita (Charles) Sullivan of Valhalla; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 6, at the Our Lady of Pompei Church, 95 Palisade St., Dobbs Ferry.
Flower Funeral Home in Yonkers is handling the arrangements.
