Nicholas A. Falcone, 84, Of Yonkers, Proprietor, F&F Motors

YONKERS, N.Y. - Nicholas A. Falcone, a longtime resident of Yonkers, died June 25. He was 84.

Falcone was born Feb. 20, 1930, to Daniel and Anastasia (nee Sarno) Falcone. He grew up in East Harlem, New York City, and was a Korean Wartime Veteran obtaining the rank of corporal in the U.S. Air Force, before being discharged. He was the proprietor of F&F Motors for over 30 years and was one of the first foreign car mechanics in Westchester County. He was a member of the Tibbetts Brook Rod & Gun Club, Coyne Park Shooting Range and most recently, Ardsley Gun Range.

Falcone is survived by his children, Nick (Katie) Falcone and Susan (Michael) D'Aquino; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and brother, Tony. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Mary Alice Donnelly; brothers, Daniel and Anthony; and sister, Concetta Palomba.

Calling hours are Wednesday, July 2 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at F. Ruggiero & Sons, Inc. , 732 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY 10704. (914)-375-1400. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 3 at St. Bartholomew's Church, 15 Palmer Road, Yonkers with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Falcone’s memory may be made to the National Rifle Association .
