YONKERS, N.Y. -- Mildred R. Bova, a lifetime resident of Yonkers, died Monday, April 25. She was 86.
She was born on July 22,1929, in Yonkers, to Michael and Elizabeth Phalen.
She is survived by her son, Louis Bova of Wantagh, N.Y.; her daughters Patrica (Robert) Hadala of Wingdale, N.Y.; and Mrs. Karen (Jeff) Hotz of Fredrick, Md.; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren and her sister Georgette (William) Alesio of New Jersey.
She was predeceased by four brothers and five sisters.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, April 29 ,at The Sinatra Memorial Home Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, N.Y.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, at St. Mary’s Church in Yonkers. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Yonkers.
