YONKERS, N.Y. -- Longtime Yonkers resident Maxine Jacobson died on Thursday, Jan. 21. She was 78.
She was born July 25, 1937, in Columbia, S.C., to Max and Leah Revelise.
Jacobson was an active member of the sisterhood of Scarsdale Synagogue Temples Tremont and Emanu-El.
She is survived by her children, Richard and Shari Jacobson-Thomas; grandson Andrew Thomas; and sisters Ruth Parris and Elizabeth Revelise.
A funeral service was held Friday morning, Jan. 22, at Scarsdale Synagogue Temples Tremont and Emanu-El. Committal will be held privately. Weinstein Memorial Chapel, in Yonkers, handled the arrangements.
