YONKERS, N.Y. - Mary Manning (nee Ferrara), a lifelong Yonkers resident, died Dec. 4. She was 90.
Manning was born Dec. 20, 1922, to Joseph and Mary Langella Ferrara in Yonkers, where she was raised. She attended P.S. 18 and Commerce High School. She was a former parishioner of Mount Carmel Church and was a member of the Coyne Park Senior Citizens Group.
Manning is survived by her sons, William Manning (Julie) of Congers and Ronald Manning (Natalie) of Yonkers; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William Manning; brother, Frank Ferrara; and sister, Teresa Pugliese.
Calling hours are Friday, Dec. 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home . A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 7, at 9:30 p.m. in Cabrini of Westchester Nursing Home, 115 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry. Entombment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
