YONKERS, N.Y. - Mary Ellen Riznychok (nee Putorti), a lifelong resident of Yonkers, died Saturday, Feb. 8. She was 65.
Riznychok attended local schools and was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. She worked as an office manager for various local businesses.
Riznychok is survived by her huband, Walter Riznychok Jr.; children, Nancy Riznychok and her fiance, George Rich and Wayne Riznychok; brothers, Frank, Dennis and Paul Putorti. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Lucille (Yonkers) Putorti; and brother, Robert Putorti.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Feb. 11 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Duchynski-Cherko Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the funeral home. Interment is private.
