YONKERS, N.Y. - Mario Favata of Yonkers died Oct. 7. He was 92.
Favata was born April 21, 1922, in New York City, to Michael and Marie Grace Favata. He was an accountant and owner of Payroll Preparation Program.
Favata is survived by his wife, Sheila; children, Robert (Rosemary) Favata, Patricia (William) McCarthy, Kathleen Favata, Michael Favata and Mary (John) Barry; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 10 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 at St. Eugene's Church, Yonkers.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Jansen Memorial Hospice, 670 Post Road, Scarsdale, NY 10583 in memory of Mario Favata.
