Ripolone was born Dec. 24, 1916, in Yonkers; daughter of Francisco and Marie Antoinette Sapere. She grew up and spent her life in Yonkers, attending Sacred Heart Elementary School and Gorton High School. She worked at Alexander Smith Carpet Shop as a weaver, Reader's Digest, and Yonkers High School. She was married to Harold Ripolone.
Ripolone is survived by her children, Tony (Janet) Ripolone, North Castle and Debra (Wade) Signor, Broad Brook, Conn.; four grandchildren; sister, Joan Yozzo of Yonkers; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30 at the Monastery Church of the Sacred Heart located at 110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Yonkers.
