She was born on March 8, 1933, to Joaquim and Natividade Marquers Lurdes in Portugal, where she was raised and educated.
She married Armandio Reis, in Portugal and they moved their family to the U.S.
She is survived by her children Carlos Amandio Reis and his wife, Licinia, Natalia and her husband, Manuel Belricho, Jorge Reis and his wife, Nela, Celeste and her husband, Jorge Costa, David Reis and his wife, Kelly, John Reis and his wife, Fernanda, and Joe Reis and his wife, Stephanie, Rui Reis and his wife, Carla; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband.
Visiting hours are on Wednesday until 8 p.m. at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Ave., in Yonkers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 355 S. Broadway, in Yonkers on Thursday, May 5, at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
