YONKERS, N.Y. – Maria G. Cessario, of Yonkers, died on Tuesday, June 23. She was 93.
Cessario was born in Martone, Reggio, Calabria, Italy to Vincenzo and Maria DeMasi Lombardo.
She was predeceased by her husband, Francesco.
She is survived by three children, Elvira Loccisano, Edie Zappia and her husband, Joseph, and Josephine Ines Cessario, five grandchildren, George Loccisano, Helen DelGrosso and her husband Frank, Mary Loccisano, Roseann Zappia and Joseph Zappia, and great-grandchildren Frank III, Nicholas and Jennifer DelGrosso.
Visiting hours will be on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Flower Funeral Home, 714 Yonkers Ave., in Yonkers.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church.
Interment will follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum.
