YONKERS, N.Y. - Maria Borsellino of Yonkers died Saturday, Nov. 22. She was 80.
Borsellino was born Feb. 8, 1934, in Ribera, Sicily, to Vincenza and Santo Palermo.
Borsellino is survived by her children, Ben (Jean) Borsellino, Jessie (Tom) DesMarais, Vivian (Joe) Covello; eight grandchildren; brothers, Joseph (Adele) Palermo, Antonio (Caterina) Palermo; and sister-in-law, Lina (Jack) Palermo. She was predeceased by her husband, Liborio.
Calling hours are Monday, Nov. 24 from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25 at St. Ann's Church, Yonkers. Burial will follow immediately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mount Saint Michael Academy Scholarship Fund, Bronx.
