Coelho was born May 31, 1927, in Portugal where she was raised and educated. She was employed in the housekeeping department at the Hebrew Home for the Aged in Riverdale for many years prior to her retirement. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and was a member of a Portuguese prayer group in Yonkers.
Coelho is survived by her daughters, Fernanda Baptista and Teresa Moreira of Yonkers, Ana Paula Coelho of St. Louis, Mo., and Ana Cristina Coelho of New City; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Antonio Coelho.
Calling hours are Thursday, May 1 and Friday, May 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 3 in Sacred Heart Church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
