Pate was born in Belmonte, Calabro, Italy and is survived by his wife, Josephine; children Frank and Anthony; grandchildren Erica, Louis, Alex, Christopher and Isabella; and siblings Joseph Pate, Giovanna Suriano and Teresa Bonanno.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5, at F. Ruggiero & Sons, 732 Yonkers Ave., in Yonkers. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, at St. Ann's Church, in Yonkers, with entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in Hawthorne.
