Lucy Ann Hudd, 83, Greenburgh Resident And Yonkers Native

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Lucy Ann Hudd, 83, of Greenburgh, passed away peacefully July 31, 2015 surrounded by her family.

The daughter of Julia and Leonard Faillace, she was born and grew up in Yonkers, where she met and married the love of her life, Lawrence, known affectionately as "Bud."

Together they raised five children who love and miss them. Hudd is survived by her children Jean Marie Zeller, Larry (Kay), Mary Ellen Soares (Joe), Chaz Hudd (Liz) and Barbara-Ann De Luca (Ralph), 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She also is survived by her sisters Barbara Gilman (Jim), Sr. Jo-Anne Faillace, O.P., Lenore Treacy, brother Dr. Joseph Faillace (Arleen Marie), and several nieces and nephews and their families.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence, in 2013, sister-in-law, Mary Angela Hill, brothers-in-law Dave Treacy and Bill Hill and son-in-law Norm Zeller.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 59 E. Main St., Elmsford.

Visitation will take place from 5-9 p.m. Monday at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave., Dobbs Ferry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to the Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105.
