YONKERS, N.Y. - Lubomira Kosteczko (nee Ciuryk), a longtime Yonkers resident, died Sunday, Oct. 12. She was 86.
Kosteczko is survived by her nephews, Janek (Krystyna), Piotrek, Roman (Tanya); and niece, Halina (Andryj); sister-in-law, Maria Ciuryk; many cousins; and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Kosteczko; and brother, Petro Ciuryk.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at Duchynski-Cherko Funeral Home with Panahyda Service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16 at St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery.
