Luba Felenczak, 94, Longtime Yonkers Resident

YONKERS, N.Y. - Luba Felenczak (nee Madzik), a Yonkers resident since 1963, died Sunday, Feb. 2. She was 94.

Felenczak was born and educated in Bartne Poland. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church since she settled in Yonkers.

Felenczak is survived by her children, John Felenczak, Maria (Andrzej) Medwid and Dymiter (Mary) Felenczak; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Teodor Felenczak; and siblings.

Calling hours are Thursday, Feb. 6 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Duchynski-Cherko Funeral Home, with Panakhyda Service at 7 p.m. Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7 at Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
