YONKERS, N.Y. - Lorraine (Melella) "Lulu" Marchionni of Yonkers died Feb. 17. She was 76.
Marchionni was the daughter of Gennaro and Angelina (Lorio) Melella.
Marchionni is survived by her husband, Vincent "Vinny" Marchionni; children, Annette (Tom) Jamin of N.J., Vincent (Kerri) Marchionni of N.C., Connie (Rob) Derbabian of and Lorraine (Patrick) Grassmann of Calif.; seven grandchildren; siblings, John Melella, Annette Kutka, Richard Melella, Frank Melella, Angie DelMerico, Thomas Melella, Ernest Melella, Charles Melella and Joseph Melella. She was predeceased by her parents; and sibling, Carmine Melella.
Calling hours are Thursday, Feb. 20 and Friday, Feb. 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 at St. Anthony Church, Nepera Park. Entombment at Mount Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
