Lorraine Drexler, 85, Former Yonkers Resident

NEW CITY, N.Y. - Lorraine Drexler (nee Bruno) of New City, formerly of Yonkers, died Thursday, April 17. She was 85.

Drexler was born Feb. 8, 1929, to Pasquale and Assunta Bruno, in Yonkers, where she was raised and graduated from Roosevelt High School. Drexler worked as a bookkeeper for Anka Tool and Dye Company in Congers.

Drexler is survived by her son, William (Margie) Drexler of Mahopac; brother, Frank Bruno; sisters, Antoinette Bruno and Catherine Horan; and nephew and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Drexler; and aunt, Leonilde Caggianese.

Calling hours are Monday, April 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 .m. Tuesday, April 22 in St. Anthony's Church (Nanuet). Interment at St. Anthony's Cemetery.
